Castara Village.
The Castara Villas properties are located in Castara, a small fishing village situated on the north coast of Tobago, about 12 miles from Scarborough, the Capital.
It is a friendly hamlet built around the local fishing industry, which plays an important part of everyday life.

The developing tourist trade has not yet reached this exotic retreat. With a backdrop of lush verdant hills and unspoiled rainforest, Castara's sandy beaches and turquoise waters are unparalleled on the island. It really is a great place to just chill out.

There are two sandy beaches,"Little Bay" and "Big Bay".
Down at the Little Bay you will find the Boathouse Restaurant which provides good food, drink & entertainment including local steel bands, reggae & soca.

n Big Bay among the coconut trees is Cascreole Restaurant and Bar, where you will usually find some music over the weekend.
Also on the beach, you will find Vera's Roti shop and the Naturalist beach cafe.Marguarites restaurant can be found on northside road by the river.
Hazel's upstairs restaurant is located by the fishermans Co-op.
Shirma's bakery and roti shop is located opposite the community centre if you fancy a quick bite while on the move.
The village also has it's share of Bars and Rumshops,
notably Codrington's and Jackson's Bars on Northside road and the recently opened Marvin's Bar on Castara Bay Road.
Fresh Bread...The elder village ladies get together to bake for all and sundry on Thursdays and Saturday afternoons
Fresh fish from the fishermans Co-op. Look out for the pulling of Siene nets.
